Thrush Aircraft, LLC is proud to announce that they have been awarded a comprehensive contract by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) for eight dual-cockpit Thrush 710P aircraft configured for aerial firefighting and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. Thrush’s agent in KSA, Advanced Aircraft Technology (AAT), will serve as prime contractor of the consortium that also includes Dynamic Aviation and Planificaciones Soluciones Aereas, S.L. (PLYSA).
The contract represents the first phase of a kingdom-wide capability development strategy that includes not only the aircraft, but also comprehensive training, operational support, advanced simulation systems, ground support equipment, and spares provisioning to ensure mission success over a five-year operational support period.
Integrated Multi-Mission Capability
The program leverages the expertise of all four partner companies to deliver a complete operational capability:
Thrush Aircraft provides eight factory-new 710P dual-cockpit aircraft, each powered by the PT6-67F turbine engine and equipped with advanced Garmin avionics including night vision goggle (NVG) capable systems, dual-axis autopilot, and comprehensive firefighting-specific equipment.
Advanced Aircraft Technology serves as prime contractor, providing integration management and in-country product support throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dynamic Aviation supplies and integrates mission systems for the ISR mission, including camera systems and supporting equipment that expand the aircraft's operational versatility beyond firefighting.
Planificaciones Soluciones Aereas provides pilot training and operational support.
